Adjustment of folding knife and folder roller position

Adjust the long hole screw on the gear shaft of the folding cutter shaft, and change the position of the long hole and the screw to change the phase of the folding knife so that the relative relationship between the folding knife and the folding pinch roller can be adjusted.

When adjusting, apply ink to the knife edge of the knife, rotate the folding roller, and check the coloring of the folding knife and folding roller. Under the condition that the gap between two folding nip rollers is 0.20 mm, it is not preferable that the folding nip rollers on both sides of the folding blade are colored. Since a newspaper has undergone vertical and horizontal folding, it has been folded into four layers here, so this accuracy can meet the requirements for use.

Adjustment of folding knife position in newspaper

After assembling the newspaper rotary machine, the distance between the cutting position of the newspaper and the picking pin has been determined. Adjusting the position of the folding knife in the newspaper folding line is actually adjusting the distance between the folding line of the folding knife and the picking pin hole.

Two folding knives on the symmetry position of the folding roller are fixed on the folding roller by a unified bracket. Fixing screws are arranged on both sides of the roller. Positioning and adjusting the top thread are arranged at both ends of one of the folding knife shaft frames. During the adjustment, loosen the fixing screw and the positioning adjustment screw, and use the positioning adjustment screw to move the two folding knifes to the desired position at the same distance. After adjustment, the top wire and the screw can be tightened again. . When newspapers are printed, the folded newspapers are aligned with the top and bottom when adjusted to the normal printing speed. When the pick hole side paper surface is too short, the folding knife shaft bracket is moved in the reverse direction of the folding roller; when the pick hole side paper surface is too long, the folding knife shaft bracket is turned towards the direction of the folding roller. mobile. Note that there is a reference 0-point mark on the folding roller and the knurled shaft holder, align with the 0-point mark, the amount of movement at both ends should be equal. When printing magazines that need to be bound, consider that the amount of trimming should be reduced as much as possible.

When adjusting the position of the fold line, although the front and rear positions of the folding knife on the folding roller are changed, the relative position of the folding knife and the folding roller is not affected. As the folding knife shaft holder is moved, the driving gear of the folding knife shaft also moves accordingly, and the entire planetary gear mechanism does not change. Therefore, the contact relationship of the folding knife during the insertion between the folding rollers is not affected.

Since the position of the folding knife shaft frame on the folding roller has changed, that is, the distance between the folding knife shaft and the picking pin has changed, so that the working relationship between the picking pin and the folding knife will change, picking the pin with the newspaper There will be a certain amount of momentum, but it does not affect the quality of the folding. If necessary, the picking cam can also be fine tuned to meet the working relationship between the pick and the knife. However, it should be noted that if the adjustment is made by increasing the length of the picking side, the picking cam should be moved in the forward direction of the folding drum; if it is adjusted by reducing the length of the picking side, the picking should be selected. The needle cam moves in the reverse direction of the folding roller.
