Clean Mountain Green Outdoor Environmental Charity Activity Launch Date: 2016-05-16 16:24
On May 15th, a group of environmental protection volunteers came to Bayi Glacier in Qilian County. They allegedly propagated the importance of environmental protection to pedestrians and stopped cleaning roadside rubbish from time to time. They are the volunteers of the Green Mountain Green Outdoor Environmental Charity Program.
The Clean Mountain, Green Outdoor Environmental Charity Program was sponsored by the Youth Joint Secretariat of Qinghai Province, the Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Red Cross Society and the Qilian County Tourism Bureau. It was initiated by off-road and outdoor sports enthusiasts from five provinces in the northwest to mobilize tourists to pay attention to the scenic spots. Environmental protection, and encourage more people to pay attention to the environment and public welfare activities. They take away domestic waste and protect the natural environment. They act to make their homes more beautiful. They don’t need to take away anything but the air. They need not leave anything as a theme except for leaving footprints.
It is understood that nearly 100 volunteers participated in the event. The event ended on May 13 and ended on May 16. The trip lasted for three days and covered six counties in three counties of Qinghai Province and passed through 12 mutual aids, Beishan Forest Farm and Xianmi. There are more than 20 scenic spots such as forest farms, Qingshizui, Kongshika Snow Mountain, Jingyangling Mountain Pass, Bayi Glacier, Yangkang, Bird Island, Qinghai Lake and so on, with a total trip of thousands of kilometers. Volunteers will guide visitors to properly dispose of rubbish along the way by distributing garbage bags to tourists and promoting environmental knowledge along the way.
Tao Yanjun, a staff member from the Provincial Youth Joint Secretariat, said that they used their own practical actions to spread green travel to the society and played a leading role in demonstrating, contributing youth power to the construction of Qinghai’s Qinghai Province.
