If the temperature exceeds 60 ° C, it can be dissolved in toluene, amyl acetate, triethylene, turpentine, mineral oil and paraffin in small amounts. After exceeding 100 ℃, it is soluble in tetralin. PE film will also swell, penetrate, and change color when it comes into contact with vegetable oil, and it will cause its internal naphthalene to precipitate and dissolve in vegetable oil after prolonged contact.
In this way, the shelf life of foods containing vegetable oil will be greatly shortened, which is also harmful to human health. Therefore, PE film is not suitable for packaging fried foods and foods containing vegetable oils.
