So bold! 32m2 small space to create Hawaiian style modern restaurant

"Urban Surfing" themed restaurant. STUDIO DOHO designed a space for the â€œUrban Surfingâ€ theme for the Shanghai store of POKE POKE Restaurant. This 32 square meter project is located on the first floor of an old Shanghai Lane in Jing'an District. A gradual blue facade and surfboard-like work surfaces create a bold urban declaration. The owner wants to create a modern restaurant with a Hawaiian element in this small space. The point-of-sale area designed by the architect extends outside to form an outdoor bar, creating a natural transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The faÃ§ade of the gradient mosaic gradually transitions from the blue of the sea to the white, adding a touch of bright color to the street.
