A Swedish company has recently developed a new type of green packaging material called TPR. This packaging material is suitable for a variety of processing operations such as thermoforming, blow molding, injection molding and extrusion molding.
It is reported that TPR material is made of calcium carbonate bonded with polyethylene by a special process. Its structure is very similar to that of egg shells. It contains 95% of calcium carbonate, and the rest is polypropylene as a binder because calcium carbonate is extremely rich in resources. As a result, raw materials for the production of this TPR green packaging material come from a wide range of sources, and the waste is environmentally friendly.
