The Markon 9880 Touch Dry® Contact Ink Drum Coder uses a DC motor drive for intermittent online packaging. The compact 9880 can be flexibly mounted on most intermittent vertical form, fill or seal (VFFS) packaging machines. The 9880 is designed to print dates and batches on packaging films or labels up to 38,1 mm x 29,9 mm in print area and print speeds of up to 140 packs/minute. That is, when the dry ink reaches the speed of up to 102 m/min, it can still dry immediately when the package is touched. The 9840 is designed to meet European and North American safety standards.
