Adding dry oil

Special paper with particularly smooth surface, poor ink absorption, so it is best to use fast-drying ink when printing, and add dry oil to each color ink to improve the drying speed of the ink and avoid the paper surface dirty when printing. malfunction.

Plant temperature and humidity

The temperature of the plant should normally be controlled at 20 to 24 ° C and the humidity should be controlled at 60 to 70%. Immediately after the paper is cut, it should be wrapped in a plastic film and placed in a warehouse with appropriate temperature and humidity. At the same time, it is necessary to keep the temperature and humidity of the printing plant stable and suitable.

Ink volume control

For special paper with a smooth surface, the poorer the ink absorption, the larger the ink supply, the more likely the paper back is dirty, and the ink color should not be too saturated during printing. Such as pearl paper, Yin Yi ice white paper, high color smooth paper, cool ice white paper.

The special paper with rough surface has better ink absorption, the ink will penetrate into the grain of the paper, and the color of the printed product will become lighter after the ink is dried. For this special paper, the ink supply during printing is larger than usual. . Such as handkerchief paper, gold sun double adhesive tape, Tanfeng rice paper, kraft paper, high song paper, oriental writing paper, Daolin paper and so on.

Dirty back

Compared with ordinary paper, the special paper has a slightly larger static electricity, and it is easy to adsorb the dust and dirt of the paper roller. When printing, the captain must pay attention to whether the back of the paper is clean. If the dirt is absorbed, clean the paper transfer roller and its aisle according to the location of the dirt.

Suitable for powder spraying

Different special papers have different ink absorbing properties, and the demand for powder spraying is also different. The smoother the surface of the paper, the worse the ink absorbing property, and the larger the amount of powder to be sprayed; the coarser the paper, the stronger the ink absorbing property, and the smaller the amount of powder to be sprayed. In the case of ensuring that the paper is not sticky, the amount of powder sprayed is as small as possible to facilitate post-press processing.
