Due to various reasons, operators sometimes place the pages in the wrong position, which causes major quality accidents and seriously affects production efficiency.

In order to eradicate major quality accidents caused by misplaced pages, the Jinan Sanxin Printing Equipment and Equipment Center and the People's Liberation Army 7123 plant jointly developed the SWY-I type page position monitor. A brief introduction is as follows:

The monitor uses the mark at the crease of the book (generally the mark is black, and the rest is the true color of the paper, ie white, and the position of the different pages in the length direction is different) as a detection mark. When installing the photoelectric sensor at the place where the mark passes, the illuminated area where the photodetector is aligned during normal operation is black, no signal is generated, and the sound and light alarm does not work. When the book page is misplaced, the light emitted by the photoelectric probe generates weak photoelectric signals after being reflected. After the relevant circuit processing, the weak photoelectric signal is converted into an electrical signal that can perform illumination and electro-acoustic elements, thereby achieving light and sound combined alarm . Due to the sensitivity of the photocell to signal response, when the crease is irregularly misplaced, it will also alarm. For this reason, this factor has been fully taken into account when designing, and high-error continuous accumulative timing alarm means that only error signals are continuously received at 10 Within seconds (adjustable) before the alarm, thus avoiding the above reasons for false alarms, received satisfactory results.
