Grape Pulp uses banana trunk to produce pulp and paper

Scientists at Braga University in Portugal studied the feasibility of using banana trunks (false trunks, non-trunks) as fiber resources for pulping and papermaking. The chemical composition of the banana tree trunk: 60% of the total cellulose content, 12% of lignin content, is conducive to use as papermaking raw materials. The fiber morphology of the banana tree trunk, the physical and mechanical properties of the chemical pulp, and the strength properties of the paper sheet obtained by mixing chemical pulp with two different wood pulps (alderwood and pine) were tested: the average length of banana trunk fibers was longer and the length was widely distributed. For 0.20 to 4.19 mlTl, but the length of short fibers less than 0.5 mm, 70%. The chemical pulp was prepared using the alkali method, the alkali-ruthenium method, and the sulphate method. The unbeaten pulp had a high degree of beating, which was 67-SR. The banana trunk fiber has the properties of natural fine fibers, and the inorganic crystalline part is retained on the fiber. As a filler for natural fillers, 20% of this pulp is mixed with eucalyptus wood pulp and pine wood pulp to make paper and improve the mechanical strength of the paper sheet. Used, banana trunk chemical pulp can also be mixed with other different types of pulp, including recycled pulp, because this pulp has a higher burst resistance index and longer rupture length.
