Nanhua new benzene hydrogenation catalyst passed the identification

Nanjing Chemical Group Co., Ltd. catalyst plant research and development of the NCG-6 type benzene hydrogenation catalyst, in January 2004 through the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Department organized the technical appraisal. This kind of catalyst is a new kind of benzene hydrogenation catalyst developed by Nanhua Catalyst Factory using its own proprietary technology. It has the advantages of superior hydrogenation performance, good selectivity, and high mechanical strength. The first batch of products were industrially applied on Yanshan Petrochemical and Baling Petrochemical's 10,000-ton and 60-thousand-ton benzene hydrogenation units respectively, with satisfactory results. The review concluded that the NCG-6 type benzene hydrogenation catalyst has the characteristics of high conversion rate, good selectivity, high mechanical strength and wide operating temperature range. The preparation method and composition of NCG-6 catalyst have not been reported at present. It has certain novelty and reaches the domestic leading level.
The NCG-6 type benzene hydrogenation catalyst has been produced on the existing industrial equipment of Nanhua Catalyst Factory, the product quality is stable, and the "three wastes" treatment all meet the environmental protection requirements. The appraisal committee recommended that Nanhua Catalyst Plant expand the application fields of the product and promote the application of relevant industrial devices in the country.
