Researchers at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, under the leadership of Benjamin Dillenburger, have developed a new 3D sand printing technology that can be used for rapid prototyping and material reuse. They used this technology to build an 80 square meter lightweight concrete slab on the "DFAB House" project, the first component ever built in this way.
