Water-permeable waterproof polyurethane resins include hydrophilic polyurethane resins and microporous polyurethane resins. Polyhydric alcohols, isocyanates, chain extenders, solvents, and other additives are used as the raw materials for the hydrophilic polyurethane resins.
Among them, polyalcohols are divided into hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity. New types of polyhydric alcohols include polyethylene glycol (PEG), polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol (PEG/PPG), hydrophobic polyols. There are polyadipate (PEPA), polytetrahydrofuran (PTMEG), and the molecular weight is approximately between 500-4000. By adjusting the molar ratio of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic raw materials, resins having different moisture permeability and water pressure resistance can be produced.
Diisocyanates: isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), MDI, TDI, and the like.
