Filling technology

Overview Filling is the intermediate process of the packaging process. Prior to this, it was the container forming or container preparation process (such as molding, cleaning, sterilization, drying, alignment, etc.), followed by sealing, sealing, labeling, printing, and other ancillary processes. . Filling technology is mainly used for sales and packaging and plays an important role in packaging technology.
The so-called filling refers to placing the product (the item to be loaded) into the packaging container according to the required quantity. The inseparable part of the filling is the precise measurement of the quantity (quantity volume or weighing) of the packaged product. Any filling method has its own filling accuracy. Filling accuracy refers to the error range of the calibrated volume or weight of the material loaded into the container. For materials with precious materials and materials with strict measurement requirements, the filling accuracy can reach ±0.1%; for heavy bags and other packaging, it can be greater than this value. Filling accuracy is one of the most important factors that affect the interests of the company. When the accuracy is low, insufficient or excessive filling occurs easily. The former will cause consumer dissatisfaction and affect product reputation; the latter will lose large amounts of materials and reduce corporate income. On the other hand, the higher the accuracy of filling, the higher the price of the required equipment. Therefore, the optimal filling accuracy must be determined according to the actual production conditions.
Due to the wide variety of items to be filled and their various shapes, the physical and chemical changes are different. They are gas, liquid, slurry, powder, granules and blocks, some are flammable and explosive, and some are The gas is toxic, and some are easily decomposed; the packaging containers are made of various materials, such as glass, metal, plastic, paper, wood, composite materials, etc. , such as bags, boxes, cups, plates, boxes, bottles, cans, tins, drums, etc.; at the same time, the diversity of machinery and equipment forms the complexity and application of the filling technology.
Although there are several methods for material filling, it can still be attributed to two major categories: filling of liquid materials and filling of solid materials.
