Turn crisis into opportunity to realize "curve crossing"
Since 2008, the international financial crisis that has swept the world has caused various industries to feel the coldness of the "cold". The town government and enterprises jointly explored and actively responded to the crisis. Mapo Glass won a rare opportunity for development. The first is to optimize products and adapt to the market. Since most of the Malopzhen glass products are middle- and low-grade products, this product structure precisely caters to the fact that the international market is demanding and practical in the crisis, and customers demand cost reduction. Mapo glass companies to seize this unique advantage, product exports not only did not decline, but showed an upward trend. The first is to expand exchanges and integrate into the mainstream. In recent years, the town has actively strengthened its ties with the glass industry design institutes and research institutes such as Qinhuangdao and Qinhuangdao, and has invited the China Daily Glass Association to visit the Mapo Glass Industry and meet with entrepreneurs on three occasions to analyze the market. At present, the roads in the park are aging and have poor sewage discharge. Financial services lag behind and restrict the development of the industry. There is only one credit union in Mapo, and the business mainly focuses on saving. Not only haven't many glass companies in the park loaned money to the bank for many years, even normal remittances, deposits and loans, and money transfers cannot be handled at local credit unions. At the end of the year to the beginning of this year, although the bank loans were coordinated to nearly 30 million yuan, for more than 60 companies, it was only a small sum of money. The Xuzhou Everbright gas project for the centralized supply of gas to the glass enterprises of the park was also suspended due to the shortage of funds due to the financial crisis. Poor roads affect industrial expansion. Mapo Town is the only town in the county that does not rely on provincial highways and highways. The total length of 23.3 kilometers of Liuma Road is the only major route to the Mapo Glass Industrial Park. This road is crowded and has poor logistics, which seriously affects the development of the park.
At present, Mapo Town has asked Xuzhou City Planning and Design Institute to make a glass park rectification plan, first revitalize existing assets and land, and self-financing some funds to initiate the infrastructure renovation of the park.
