(1) Material left in the seam, elastic area, waist and cuffs. The stretch area, waist, and cuffs must be fairly slack, and the seams should not be prepared too tightly or too loosely. When dyeing with reactive dyes, the multi-layer seams of woven fabrics (pockets, lapels, zippers, etc.) or tight waistbands and ribbed garments should be treated with high temperature (such as 95 ℃) for a short time In order to facilitate the dye to spread better, penetrate better, and then cool to fix the dye, which is helpful to overcome the penetration problem at the seam.
(2) Shrinkage performance: Excessive shrinkage or unevenness at the junction of knitted fabrics and woven fabrics can cause seam shrinkage. Therefore, high-quality knitted fabrics and woven fabrics should be fully pre-shrinked. In order to prevent such defects in the future, a blank staining can be performed.
(3) Scratches / Wrinkles: Especially fine fabrics are prone to scratches or pilling due to the mechanical stress in the rotary dyeing machine. It is advisable to turn the back of the fabric or clothing to the outside, and add non-foaming lubricant during dyeing, and the dyeing process should be as short as possible. For some woven fabrics, avoiding overloading of the dyeing drum can prevent the occurrence of wrinkles and cracks.
(4) Accessories: Zippers, buttons and decorative buttons should be made of good quality components made of nickel or its alloys. When bleached or dyed with reactive dyes, they will not be damaged by corrosion with high concentrations of electrolytes and alkaline agents. Polyester buttons are not easy to dye. Nylon buttons are colored when the garment is dyed. The elastomer used in the rib mouth is either natural rubber or polyurethane fiber. The former should be dyed with copper-free dyes; the latter should avoid strong oxidants. To avoid problems caused by metal accessories, anti-corrosion agents such as Sandocorin 8160 liquid can be used.
(5) Sewing thread: The sewing thread must be strong and thin enough to produce a smooth seam. It should also be able to withstand the speed of modern high-speed sewing machines. An auxiliary lubricant (trademark of Sandolube) is needed to reduce the friction between the thread, the needle and the wire hook and the fabric, and also protect the polyester thread from the heat of the needle. Before dyeing, these lubricants must be removed. When sewing fabrics made of pure cotton, the sewing thread and fabric should be of the same fiber type. In order to obtain considerable seam strength, thicker sewing threads must be used. In chain stitch and chain stitch operations, the sewing tension must be kept to a minimum to precisely produce loose stitches, otherwise in the later dyeing of garments, wrinkles will be caused due to the shrinkage of the thread.
(6) Substances: It is necessary to prevent foreign materials such as oil, grease, lubricating oil, dyes, etc. from contaminating clothing or clothing during garment preparation and before dyeing to avoid loss of value.
(7) Lining head: The purpose of the lining head is to increase the stiffness of the outer fabric and maintain the shape. It also needs to have the following special properties: the dye is absorbed from the dye bath to the same degree as the outer fabric; the adhesive that binds the outer fabric to the base fabric of the heading must be kept intact during and after dyeing. The feel is in line with customer needs; the hot-melt resin used for hot-melt lining should be conducive to coloring.
The composition of the hot melt lining is: the base fabric, the base fabric finishing layer and the hot melt resin coating. The base fabric is preferably cotton. The bottom fabric finishing layer should be treated with low-formaldehyde resin and mechanical pre-shrinkage to facilitate uniform adsorption of dye wells and prevent differential shrinkage. Hot-melt resins must be resistant to damage during dyeing. For this purpose, they must have the following properties: hydrophobic; not sensitive to pH; have a high melting point; suitable for coating and fast cross-linking. Polyolefin-based hot-melt resins with high crystallinity and high melting point are most suitable.
(8) Use notice label: According to the physical and color fastness properties of the finished product, use the word or international use notice label symbol, and use the notice label to tell customers what should be paid attention to when cleaning and washing clothing.
