After adding water, it can return to the form before freeze-drying, and can maintain its original biochemical characteristics. Therefore, freeze-drying technology is widely used in the chemical industry, biological products and other fields.

FD-1 type is a small desktop freeze-drying equipment, suitable for laboratory sample experiment and small-scale production.

There are five types of FD-1: ordinary type (A type), manual gland type (B type), multi-manifold type (C type), multi-manifold gland type (D type), T-frame type (E type).

3. The common type material drying tray has a diameter of 20mm and a total of four layers. It can hold about 1200ml of material (material thickness of 10mm) or 256 bottles with a diameter of 22mm; the model of manual capping device has a material drying tray of 170mm in diameter It can store about 650ml of material (thickness 10mm) or 135 bottles with a diameter of 22mm.

The multi-manifold type is equipped with 8 rubber valves, which can be hung respectively for 8 glass lyophilized bottles of 100ml, 250ml, 500ml or 1000ml (optional as standard); T-frame type, equipped with 24 rubber valves, can be used for 24 Freeze-dried ampoules.

5. Operation method

Before freeze-drying, put the items to be dried in a low-temperature refrigerator or liquid nitrogen to freeze the items completely before freeze-drying.

The host and the vacuum pump are connected by a vacuum tube, and the connection is made of international standard clamps. The clamp contains a sealing rubber ring. Before connecting, apply a proper amount of vacuum grease on the rubber ring, and then clamp it with the clamp.

The right side panel of the host is provided with a power socket for the vacuum pump, and the power cord of the vacuum pump is connected.

Check the vacuum pump to confirm that the vacuum pump oil has been filled, and it is not allowed to run without oil. The oil level should not be lower than the center line of the oil mirror. Please read the instruction manual of the vacuum pump in detail before using it for the first time.

The "O" type sealing rubber ring above the cold trap of the main machine should be kept clean. When it is used for the first time, it can be coated with a thin layer of vacuum grease. The organic glass cover is placed on the rubber ring. .

A. Start-up operation

1. Connect the main power cable and turn on the yellow main power switch on the right. At this time, the "cold trap temperature" display window starts to display the temperature of the cold trap;

2. Press the "Refrigerator" switch, the refrigerator starts to run, and the temperature of the cold trap gradually decreases. In order to make the cold trap and the ability to fully absorb moisture, the pre-cooling time should not be less than 30 minutes;

3. Press the "vacuum gauge" switch, and the vacuum degree is displayed as "999";

4. After the pre-cooling is finished, place the prepared items to be dried in the drying tray, and then cover the organic glass cylinder.

5. Press the stainless steel tab on the quick inflation valve (located on the right front panel). After hearing the clicking sound, pull out the mouth of the quick inflation valve to automatically seal it.

6. Press the "vacuum pump" switch, the vacuum pump starts to work, and the vacuum degree displays "999" until it is below 1000Pa, then the actual vacuum degree can be displayed, and the freeze-drying process begins.

Note: When the vacuum pump starts to work, press down the plexiglass cover for a while to facilitate sealing.

7. For the multi-manifold type, the rubber valve should be closed first (the spool length should be upward). When the vacuum reaches 20Pa or less, insert the pre-frozen freeze-dried bottle into the lower port of the rubber valve and rotate the plastic spool 180 °. (Note: At this time, the vacuum display will pick up. When the vacuum reaches 20Pa or less, refill the next bottle).

8. The T-frame type should first close the rubber valve (the spool is vertical to the rubber tube), and when the vacuum reaches 20Pa or less, insert the pre-frozen lyophilized bottle into the lower port of the rubber valve and rotate the plastic spool 90 °. (Note: At this time, the vacuum display will pick up. When the vacuum reaches 20Pa or less, refill the next bottle).

B. Shutdown operation

1. Connect the quick inflation valve to the quick inflation valve seat, and turn off the "vacuum pump" power switch, so that the air slowly enters the cold trap; if you need to fill with inert gas, connect the inert gas decompression conduit to the "inflation port" .

2. Turn off the "vacuum gauge" and "refrigerator", and unplug the power cord if not used for a long time.

3. Lift the plexiglass cover, take out and store the items, and the freeze-drying process ends.

4. After the ice in the cold trap turns into water, the water needs to be discharged from the outlet of the quick inflation valve, the operation is similar to that of inflation.

5. Clean up the water and impurities in the cold trap, and maintain the equipment properly.

When the vacuum pump is not in use, cover the exhaust nozzle to prevent dirt from entering.

6. For multi-manifold type, close the rubber valves one by one and remove the lyophilized bottle and then repeat the shutdown operation.
