DuPont to Launch RFID-Based Tyvek Materials

DuPont will display their labels and trademarks using Tyvek at the European Trademark Expo in September.

Tyvek is a non-woven polyethylene material used to make labels and trademarks. DuPont claims that this material is particularly suitable for RFID because it has good tear resistance, puncture resistance, and abrasion resistance.

In the Brussels show, DuPont will fix the RF transceiver on the Tyvek cylinder and regenerate the output tag.
