Map printing requires a high degree of precision. When my unit used Heidelberg CD-102 to print six-color maps, there were many kinds of faults. The author made a brief record of these faults for reference and reference.

1. Feida paper is unstable, and the operation screen displays oblique

Example: When printing offset paper, the operation screen shows that the paper is skewed.

Condition analysis: Because the offset paper powder is large, the paper powder is easily accumulated in the gas distribution valve through the Feida nozzle, and the weather is humid, the moisture is sucked into the gas distribution valve and mixed with the paper powder, resulting in the gas separation valve and the valve body. "Welding", there is a phenomenon of paper skew.

Solution: 1 Replace the universal joint shaft and the hollow sleeve of the bushing to keep the feeder running smoothly and keep the paper positioning accurate. 2 Adjust the running time between the feeder paper feed nozzle and the paper feed roller so that the gap between the paper feed roller and the paper feed roller is 3 mm when the paper feed nozzle is loaded.

2. When the six-color map is printed, the mouth is dirty.

Example: When printing six-color maps, in the case of the same amount of ink, the water supply in the morning is just right, but after noon, the amount of water needs to be increased, and after increasing the amount of water, the color code at the mouth of the mouth will become shallow and the density is not enough.

Condition analysis: Due to the insufficient purity of the alcohol dampening solution, the spread on the surface of the printing plate is unstable, causing the mouth to become dirty.

Solution: Replace the high purity alcohol. The alcohol concentration should be 14% to 18%; the isopropanol concentration should be 8% to 13%.

3. When the six-color map is printed, the paper is not fit.

Example description: When I print a six-color map, my unit prints twice by “4+2”. Among them, the second printing and the first printing appear in the axial direction.

Condition analysis: The uneven water content of the offset paper caused the paper to be misaligned when printing the six-color map.

Solution: 1 Before printing white paper, press water once or more, or hang the white paper to make the water content uniform; 2 When printing for the first time, you can take a few sheets of paper first, then print on it. The upper cover is printed once to detect the degree of deformation of the paper. If the paper is deformed, the paper can be processed by 1; 3 the front gauge is adjusted reasonably, so that the two printing sets are accurate.

4. In color printing, the text in the last batch of jobs appears in this batch of jobs.

Example: When printing a batch of color, the red text of the last batch of work appears in the second batch of work, cleaning the roller, changing the ink, adjusting the amount of ink, changing the blanket, changing the pad, adjusting the roller The pressure between the water roller and the check plate cannot solve this problem.

Condition analysis: Due to the poor plate base or insufficient developer concentration, the surface of the printing plate is poor in ink repellency, resulting in the return of the previous batch of text to the printing plate.

Solution: Reprint the plate, increase the exposure or readjust the developer concentration.

5. Side regulation is not allowed

Example: When printing 70g/m2 offset paper, it is found that the side specification position is inaccurate, and the phenomenon of “pull-over” and “pull-out” occurs. After inspection, it was found that the clearance between the side gauge plate and the bottom plate was too small, and the side gauge plate did not move much when the platen roller was adjusted. The judgment may be because the high point of the eccentric shaft corresponds to the low point of the shaft when the platen roller is installed, so that the pressure plate does not change up and down when the platen roller is eccentric.

Condition analysis: Since the side gauge of my unit has been repaired, the eccentric position is not correct when the platen roller is installed, which causes the side gauge to position the paper incorrectly.

Solution: Remove the side gauge and side gauge platen roller, adjust the eccentricity of the platen roller shaft and the eccentricity of the shaft, so that the high position is high and the low position is low. After installing the side gauge, adjust the gap between the pressure plate and the bottom plate to 2 sheets of paper thickness.
