IKEA furniture details, but also

I visit IKEA every year, and each time I walk through the store, I come away with a new perspective. There's no denying that this once-mighty retail giant has built one of the most reliable business models in the world. His charm is undeniable, and it’s not something that the internet can easily replicate. IKEA has also brought together some of the most talented designers globally, creating countless iconic products. They offer a wide range of reasonably priced, stylish furniture — but despite all that, I’ve always found their furniture to be somewhat underwhelming. This time, I spent an entire day wandering around IKEA. I really enjoyed their kitchen displays and the range of kitchenware they have, but when it came to the furniture, I was less impressed. I took 25 photos to show just how unimpressed I was. The details on IKEA furniture are things that most people don’t even notice at first glance. I wanted to highlight that sometimes, even with mass production and big scale, quality isn’t always guaranteed. The images below showcase some of the small but important design flaws that I noticed during my visit. From the corners of the cabinets to the joints of the chairs, there were several areas where the craftsmanship didn’t quite meet expectations. These aren’t just random observations — they’re real examples of why, despite the brand’s popularity, I still feel that IKEA furniture doesn’t always live up to its promise. Take a look at these pictures and see if you feel the same way I do. Do you think IKEA is overrated? Or do you still believe in the magic of the flat-pack experience? Let me know in the comments!
