After fifteen years of spring and autumn, Foshan ushered in the 30th Foshan Ceramics Fair. With the smooth opening of the exhibition, the trend products have also unveiled the mystery, one by one in the field of view of exhibitors.
As a reporter for professional media, the reporter focused on the new technologies and processes that appeared at the show. What kind of technology change and process innovation can we see through the product? And listen to the reporter one by one.
Dry and wet color mixing process
Supporting the "comprehensive" trend
It is not an exaggeration to say that “all-in-one†has become the standard for marble tiles and an upgraded version of modern antique tiles. On the basis of the existing exaggeration: the "comprehensive" trend at this time, to some extent, can be compared to the world's world, and there is a tendency of "the whole world is all over the body."
What impact does technological process change have on the ceramic industry?
Supporting the "complex" trend is the dry and wet mixing process. Whether it is dry or wet, there is only one purpose. Working on the tile body, extending the innovation from the tile surface to the blank is one of the performances of the product.
Specifically, the dry color mixing is a process in which the powder is mixed into a desired coloring material during granulation, and the coloring material is uniformly adhered to the surface of the green body particles to form a coloring process. This process is still white because there is no color inside the green colorant particles, so there will be white spots when the brick body is cut sideways. Some people think that this is a defect of color saturation, but some people think that it can moderately increase the visual jump and liveliness.
In the wet mixing mode, the coloring material and the green body powder are sufficiently mixed and colored before granulation. Therefore, each of the granules produced is uniformly colored from the inside to the outside, and the color of the granules is more evenly saturated. However, the wet color mixing also has the disadvantage that the process is more complicated than the dry method.
The reporter observed at the exhibition that most of the whole-body bricks introduced at this exhibition were produced by the dry-mixing process, and only a few individual bodies were wet-processed (except for solid-colored whole-body bricks).
Large tonnage press, super wide polishing
Large plate tide supported by inkjet technology
Because of its oversized specifications, the ceramic slabs are often quite impressive and ornamental when they are on display. They can be seen at a glance. At this year's Ceramic Fair, the heat of ceramic slabs continued to rise. The size of the exhibition was 900×1800mm, and 1500×3000mm, 1200×2400mm, 1500×3000mm and even larger. The technical support behind it is mainly in the field of forming technology - large tonnage presses, veneering technology - wide format inkjet equipment, large glazing equipment and deep processing technology - wide-width polishing equipment.
Among them, in terms of molding technology, it is roughly divided into two horizontal directions of foreign horizontal and domestic vertical, and the horizontal type is divided into rolling forming and extrusion molding equipment; the vertical type is mainly based on stamping.
Rolling and extrusion molding, in theory, can achieve the production of larger slab specifications. Therefore, we see that ceramic slabs with a width of more than 4 meters are common in foreign countries. Most of them are imported or purchased from foreign equipment. The stamping and forming presses are mainly produced by the large-tonnage presses that Henglitai and Keda have launched. For example, the 1680-ton press can meet the production requirements of 1200×2400mm.
In terms of finishing technology, one is the support of ultra-wide-format inkjet devices, and the other is the emergence of large-scale glazing equipment.
The reporter was informed that at the ceramics industry exhibition at the end of June this year, MEGA has launched an ultra-wide-format inkjet device that can print more than 1600mm wide-format printing and match the production needs of ceramic slabs. At the same time, this month's ultra-wide-format inkjet equipment has been produced in Hangzhou Nobel's production of ceramic slabs, with a maximum inkjet width of 2000mm. Other brands of inkjet devices have also introduced ultra-wide-format devices.
In terms of large-scale glazing equipment, cabinet-type fuel injectors and linear glazes all have glaze equipment that meets the needs of ceramic slabs.
Third, the field of deep processing is mainly the technological advancement of polishing equipment to support the demand for ceramic slabs. Due to the larger size, it is necessary to increase the polishing area per unit time, and it is difficult to complete the polishing process to ensure the constant line speed. For this reason, the polishing equipment has also been greatly improved this year, and the production efficiency of ceramic large plates has been met by the improvement of polishing efficiency and polishing precision.
Inkjet continues to upgrade to bring more realistic craftsmanship
At this exhibition, the color and texture of the tile surface are further moving towards realistic climbing. The tiles, which are mainly made of stone texture, can be seen to achieve more surface irregularities, and the cracks formed by natural stone are all vividly displayed. Big highlights.
Behind this highlight, it is not unrelated to the upgrade of inkjet devices and the development of matching inks. Among them, in terms of inkjet equipment, first, the equipment used for glazed tiles continues to be upgraded; secondly, cross-border is realized, which is applied to polished tiles to realize inkjet oozing process.
On the glazed tiles, there are mainly channels or devices for printing functional inks, such as ink grooves, peeling inks, and printing channels for finely engraved ink. The "glue + dry grain" process is achieved by adding a special inkjet printing glue. In addition, the combination of throwing bricks and ordinary bricks is also one of the highlights. The process of supporting it mainly requires inkjet printing to realize the function of spraying gold water. Therefore, inkjet equipment for spraying gold water is also allowed.
Traditional inkjet printing is generally applied to glazed tiles, but today, the output of inkjet etched polished tiles has broken the application limits of inkjet devices and crossed the boundaries of polished tiles. By inkjet printing the oozing ink to the micropowder layer, the texture of the micropowder layer is realized, and the richness and level of the polished tile texture are once again increased.
Grinding block and glazed innovation
Supports the change of brightness of the brick surface
Another craze at the show was the display of a multi-faceted, different brick-faced brightness product, including the traditional mirror surface, the recent soft-light surface, and the matt surface product that was previously unwarranted. The brightness of the supporting tile surface is more abundant in the polishing process and glazed products.
From the mirror to the soft light and even the matt, the key point is that the polishing block changes, and the grinding force used is different. The need for grinding of the mirror surface is large, the grinding block is required to be harder and the cutting force is stronger; the soft light is relatively softer, and new demands are placed on the grinding block.
Furthermore, due to the matt and soft light products, the surface has higher antifouling performance than the mirror products, so the opposite glaze has higher antifouling performance requirements. An upgraded version of the glaze supports the birth of these products.
Functional ink leads functional tile hot return
At the exhibition, the functional tiles are hot. “Functionality†has two directions. First, the ceramic tile adds new features in addition to the decoration; secondly, the tile surface decoration function is upgraded.
The first category of products is a batch of ceramic tiles similar to negative ions, anti-fouling self-cleaning tiles, anti-slip functional tiles and so on. Among them, the rise of the "negative ion" ceramic tile is more prominent in this year's Ceramic Expo. Many companies have put a large number of instruments for testing negative ions in the booth. The straight tube displays the negative ion function of the tile to attract customers. Stop and observe. The support of this product is mainly due to the negative ion ink or negative ion glaze.
The second is mainly the re-decoration function of the tile surface, such as trapping ink, stripping ink, engraving ink and glue + dry grain technology. The main function of these functional inks is to create a textured texture on the surface of the tile, making the tile pattern more realistic and closer to the realistic effect of counterfeiting the natural stone texture. As mentioned earlier, the application of these functional inks requires an upgrade of the inkjet device.
It is precisely because of the advancement of technology that the product is brought to the fore. When watching the Taobo Fair, looking at the technology behind the product from another angle, it justifies the achievements of technological innovation. In short, a thousand people look at Hamlet, there are a thousand Hamlet in the center of the eye. What the reporters see is this. What do you see?
