Guangdong Province Announces First Announcement of Large-scale Defective Product Announcement Date: 2015-03-13 09:32

On March 11th, the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce announced a spot check on 112 defective products, including household textile products, clothing, televisions, electric water heaters, baby carriages, toys, and gas stoves.
In the list of defective products, 13 household textile products and 9 garments failed. Among them, in terms of home textile products, Zhiyang, Jinshi, Baifudi BY Ford, and Joy Love China were among the top brands; among the unqualified products, Ai Xuehai, Shi Xiaolong, Classic TeddyPearl and other brands of gold keys. Among these substandard products, six products detected carcinogenic dyes that can decompose carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, including children's clothing.
Multiple batches of danger stroller toys need to be recalled
The parents of the children at home noticed that 13 baby carriages and 6 toys were also in danger of being recalled, including the Shunle Baby Bike, the legendary Babe stroller, and the SmurfsTM toy car. It is reported that Xiaoyuanlong luxury baby carts have dangerous cracks, folding locking devices and other items are unqualified; Shunle baby bicycles have unqualified mechanical strength, these conditions will cause children to stab wounds, pinch injuries and other hazards.
In addition, the industrial and commercial departments recalled six dangerous toys at the same time, including Paniaslni Thomas and his friends railcars, SmurfsTM rail cars, etc. The plastic film used in packaging or toys has a risk of suffocating children.
29 gas stoves failed
Of the 100 defective products to be recalled and destroyed by the industry and commerce department, the number of gas stoves was the largest, and 29 gas stoves failed. Among the list of unqualified gas stoves, include the crown gas stove produced by the Crown Water Heater Co., Ltd. of Jiangmen City and the Qitian gas stove produced by Zhongshan Jiebang Electric Appliance Co. Unqualified items include flameout protection devices, intake pipe size, etc. It is understood that the failure of the flameout protection device will lead to gas leaks, and the inconsistent size of the intake pipe may cause explosion and fire accidents.
