The maximum absorption wavelength of polyketone is in the range of 280-290 nm. In the sunlight, UV light of this wavelength happens to exist. Therefore, polyketone-based polymer materials are prone to photodegradation outdoors, and in the interior, due to the absorption of glass doors and windows, the The wavelength of ultraviolet light is greatly reduced, so it is relatively stable. Polyketone photodegradation is the formation of ketones, olefins, and carbon dioxide and other low-molecular substances in the carbon chain near the carbonyl bond, and there is no problem of environmental pollution, thus becoming an environmentally friendly material.
The raw material of polyketone is rich in carbon monoxide source and low in price. Using it as a monomer not only reduces environmental pollution, but also utilizes carbon resources. Compared with most macromolecule polymers prepared with petroleum as raw materials, the energy consumption is reduced.
