The automatic packaging tester combines the seal strength and leakage test into one and is designed for flexible packaging. Using the BT1000 packaging tester from Boytronic (MA, USA), users can choose from bursts, creep, and creep-to-failure tests. The seal strength test is suitable for testing porous bags, trays or blister packs made of Tyvek polyethylene or cardboard. Metal foils, laminates, and non-paper barrier materials can also be tested.

Quantitative measurement methods guarantee accurate reproducibility of results. Critical variables are controlled by the operator. Eight test modes can be selected without changing settings, test objects or machine settings. The instrument also provides image results for individual seal strength and package integrity tests.
