Then, after the wrinkles of clean clothes, in addition to the ugly appearance, what effect does it have on the function? Theoretically, there may be two adverse effects after the wrinkles of the clean clothes:

First: the surface of the garment after wrinkling is uneven, and it is easy to produce "hanging ash" phenomenon.

Second: garment wrinkling is caused by uneven shrinkage of the fibers. Since the conductive fiber has a large shrinkage ratio, and the single diameter of the conductive fiber is 2 to 3 times that of the ordinary polyester, the shrinking force of the shrinkage is large, causing the surrounding polyester fiber to swell, and the gap generated thereby causes the filtering effect of the garment. reduce.

In order to confirm the above reasoning, we selected an easy-crease fabric and a wrinkle-free fabric, and conducted a comparative test according to the filtration efficiency test method in GB/T24249-2009 "Anti-static clean fabric". The basic parameters of the sample are shown in Table 1.

The sample was cut into 40cm*40cm size, a total of 8 pieces, numbered A1~A4, B1~B4. A1~A2, B1~B2 are the original samples, A3~A4, B3~B4 are washing samples. The four washing samples are cleaned once according to the 4A procedure of GB/T8629. After drying and taking out, the surface of A3~A4 has been wrinkled, and the surface of B3~B4 is flat.

After the sample is prepared, the air sample filtration rate comparison test is performed on the original sample and the washing sample according to the provisions of Appendix D of GB/T24249-2009 "Antistatic Clean Fabric". The test results are shown in Table 2.

The test results show that the filtration efficiency of air particles after fabric wrinkling is significantly reduced, especially for 0.5μm particles, the filtration efficiency is reduced by more than 50%. The test results confirmed the theoretical analysis. Therefore, we must attach great importance to and take seriously the problem of wrinkling in clean clothes. At the same time, we also noticed that the filtration efficiency of the non-wrinkle fabric was improved after one washing, because the fiber fluffed after washing to fill the woven gap between the yarn and the yarn. The fundamental way to solve the wrinkling of clean clothes is to solve the problem from the source, that is, polyester-based conductive fibers are used in the weaving process.
