This is Yangzi Petrochemical's first successful production of more than 20,000 tons of this high-value-added pipe material for use in industrial installations. The test performance has reached the performance index of similar imported products, and the structural characterization of the produced PPB/PPR products is completely compatible with foreign products. Consistent, non-toxic, tasteless, long life and other characteristics.
The successful development of the pipe special material with Yangzi Petrochemical's independent intellectual property rights has not only improved the proportion and grade of special materials for polyolefin products in China, but also enhanced the competitiveness of products and can also replace imported products, with significant social and economic benefits. At present, the technology has applied for national patents. Since the introduction of this special material to the market, it not only met the needs of the domestic market, but also shortened the gap with similar foreign products. After five times of industrial production, in 2003, Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has cumulatively produced 24,000 tons of this kind of raw materials, generating profits of more than 60 million yuan.
