Amway Grand
MDRD Restaurant at Amway Grand is the Spanish-inspired gem perched on top of Grand Rapids' premier historic hotel.â£
Gensler aimed to create an energetic and artistic experience that delivers the design and culinary offerings one might expect in a major city while maintaining an accessible and relaxed atmosphere where locals can unwind and savor great food and company.â£
The fresh design approach lets visitors choose from various experiences based on their group or occasion. The social lounge near the entrance invites guests to drop in for light bites and drinks, enjoying a cozy ambiance and a breathtaking view to catch the sunset.â£
Beyond the lounge lies the bar, connecting it to the dining area. Plush nooks and elongated barstools for two create an ideal setting for a romantic evening, while a long banquette accommodates casual dining. Positioned along the new glass façade, the space features a unique terraced seating element, offering city and river views for all who visit Grand Rapids' restaurant in the sky.â£
