Here is a small series to tell you how to check the cashier ticket machine failure.
Turn off the printer and restart the cash register.
If you still can't print the ticket after the restart, please follow the printer troubleshooting method as follows:
Process 1: View the printer lights
The printer is powered on and the printer is ready for standby, at which point the printer lights blue. Ensure that the printer's USB cable is connected to the cash register, and it is recommended to receive the USB port on the back of the silver machine.
Process 2: Eliminate the print mission
Click "Start" -> WIN XP, click "Printer and Fax", WIN 7, click "Devices and Printers" --> Find the printer icon: "GP-5850II" or "GP-5860III"
--> Right click on the printer icon you are using and select the "Undo all documents" menu item --> click the "Yes" button.
Note: Because the print background service program fails to print and fails to print, it will stay in the print mission list, causing the print queue to block and cannot print normally. Printer status
Appearing as "offline", it is now necessary to eradicate the blocked print mission.
Process 3: Check the printer status
Connect the printer USB cable to the computer and turn on the printer.
Click "Start" -> WIN XP, click "Printers and Faxes", WIN 7, click "Devices and Printers" --> In the "Printers and Faxes" window, find the printer icon:
"GP-5850II" or "GP-5860III" --> Right click on the printer icon you are using and select the "Use online printer" menu item.
Note: After selecting the "Use online printer" menu item, the printer status is changed from "offline" to "ready".
In the "Printers and Faxes" window, the printer icon will show an accurate status after the settings are completed.
Note: Accurate printer status: "Document" is "0" and "Status" is "Ready".
At this point, the printer can be used normally.
Process 4: Restart the cash register
Finally, disconnect the power of the ticket machine, boot from the beginning, and then restart the cash register.
