J2108B offset press photoelectric switch troubleshooting

In a recent production, a longer useful life of our company J2108B type off-color offset printing machine there was some switch failure. Below, the author will focus on the troubleshooting experience of the offset switch photoelectric switch, for peer reference.

When the offset press operation button is pressed, the offset press will only stop for a few laps. Check that each lock switch, bumper safety switch and punctual or reverse point switch are normal, and the PLC also has no stop signal input. Although the micro relay is normal, the counter X0 has no pulse signal input. When the photoelectric switch under the paperboard was inspected, the indicator light was not lit. Further inspection revealed that no pulse signal input counter X0 was found every revolution of the offset printing machine. According to the program ladder diagram, if no pulse signal is input to the counter X0, the counter X0 will send a stop signal to stop the offset press. After replacing the photoelectric switch, the fault is completely eliminated.
