Due to the complicated structure and high installation accuracy of the claw body (Fig. 1), in general, it does not need to be completely disassembled and maintenance, and it is not recommended to repair it by itself. However, due to the tight production tasks, it is only possible to conduct telephone consultations with the technicians of the manufacturers and solve them by themselves. Later, after some hard work, the jaw body was finally successfully repaired, and it has been working normally. Now, the author will introduce the repair process of the claw body.
Disassembly

First, the front end cover of the claw body is unscrewed, and the spring piece supporting the copper key is pulled out by hand. If it cannot be pulled out smoothly, do not pull it hard to avoid damage to other parts. After the next step is completed, the telescopic rod can be easily removed after it is taken out.

Then, unplug the air tube on the rotating drum upper barrel, loosen the fastening screw with a 2.5 mm hex wrench, remove the back cover, and directly pull out the inner air tube. At this time, loosen the four fastening screws with a 5 mm diameter hex wrench and tie the drum holder to the boom with a rope. Do not damage the sensor cable. After completing this step, use a 5 mm diameter Allen key to loosen the fastening screw of the rear end cover M6 of the claw body. At this time, remember that one of the jackets has a flat screw position, which is the claw body. The only limit screw for the telescopic length is also the control point for the inductive sensor.

The rear end cover of the claw body is supported by a strong spring. When removing the rear end cover, be careful not to hurt yourself. The small end of the spring bears against the rear end cap, the large end is placed against an aluminum cone, and there is a M6 nut hole in the middle. The aluminum cone can be removed with a pincer and M6 screws. The outer circumference of the cone has two sealing rings that control the tightness of the air chamber. After removing the cone, the inside is a flat bearing fixed with screws. Use a 6mm hex wrench to remove the screw and remove the flat bearing. You will see a round nut on the screw. The round nut was removed with a self-made open-end wrench of 52 mm in diameter, and a very thick spring was placed over the lead screw. Remove the spring, this screw is connected to the telescopic moving rod. Use a copper rod to gently move forward from the head of the screw. You may not be able to hit it at first. Try it a few times, then play it backwards from the front end of the claw body, knock it back and forth several times, and Lubricate the oil to the shaft, copper keys and fueling points until the telescopic rod is pulled out (the telescopic rod must be removed from the front end).

2. Clean up

After removing the telescopic rod, we found that the surface of the rod has scratches and debris, and there are also large scratches and debris in the body. At this time, scratches and debris can be scraped off with a round file and a scraper, and then sanded with fine sandpaper until the surface of the claw body is smooth and smooth.

After the jaws were repaired, we began to repair the telescopic rods, and the telescopic rods were stuck on the vise, and the flats were used to smooth the scratches and unevenness. The work must be careful and meticulous. Finally, the telescopic rod is stuck on the lathe, and it is smoothed and smoothed with fine sandpaper to ensure the precision of the telescopic rod.

3. Installation

Put the fixed telescopic rod into the claw body, try the tightness, and gently push it in by hand to complete the sliding fit. Then remove the telescopic rod and clean it and apply the lubricating oil. Gently insert the telescopic rod into the claw body, and align the three flat end faces with the three key holes on the claw body to facilitate the installation of three copper keys. Next, the rear half of the claw body can be mounted in the reverse order of the removal.

First install the thick spring and tighten the nut with a self-made wrench with a diameter of 52mm. The position is just the right end of the set of flat bearings. The flat bearing is screwed. When installing the aluminum seal, pay attention to the position of the flat bearing with an oil seal. Do not damage it. In addition, the seal ring can not be damaged, otherwise it is easy to leak. The installation of the rear end cover requires two people to cooperate. The rear end cover can be ventilated and tested. Press the 52PB switch to see if the telescopic rod is stretchable. If it is not normal, check again until it is normal. Then install the inductive sensor, fix the barrel rack and insert the air tube. Finally, install the back cover of the barrel rack and the external air tube, and test again.

Now, we can install the expansion copper button of the claw body. First, see if the three planes of the telescopic rod correspond to the keyholes. Put the three copper keys in turn and insert the spring piece. Before placing it, apply lubricating oil, then press Lock the switch 52PB, see how the copper key is stretched, and finally tighten the small end cap.
